Our College

Govt. Sindh Law College strives to be a premier and the oldest law College of Hyderbad ,The college is affiliated as a full grade premier Law College to the University of Sindh , where we are able to foster the highest ethical values, in-depth understanding of substantive law and essential legal skills in our students so that they become outstanding lawyers and leaders.

Our mission is to prepare students in the substance and practice of law. Our pedagogy combines the conceptual law and its application through innovative classroom lecture methods. We teach students legal writing and other legal and professional skills necessary for a successful future in law. At Themis School of Law we stress upon a versatile legal education in order that our graduates become brilliant lawyers, leading and serving the field of law and the needs of the community at large.

The College is located in the center of the city is easily accessible to the residents of various localities of the city. It is accommodated in a spacious and well-constructed building.

The College authorities furnish good scope to the Students to organize their students activities in a well-disciplined manner.

Affiliation

The college is affiliated as a full grade premier Law College to the University of Sindh Jamshoro.The University of Sindh, the oldest University of the country, was constituted under the University of Sindh Act. No. XVII of 1947 passed by the Legislative Assembly of Sindh. The Act was subsequently revised and modified in 1961 and later. The Act of 1972 under which the University is presently functioning provided for greater autonomy.
